We have a new team member 🎉
Yadu is part of our development team and develops the software for our test devices with his colleagues. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, singing in the choir (United Voices) and walking his dog 🐶
Thank you for being with us 😊
We won first place at Startup Live in Linz 🏆
Together with 10 other startups, we took part in the Startup Live workshop on April 1 and 2 and won first prize in the final pitch. There were two very instructive days on which we received a lot of new input for the further development of sendance.
Many thanks to the two organizers Paulina Kania and Arbresha Talla and the venue factory300.

And again: we have a great new team member at sendance GmbH – Clemens Schartmüller 🎉
In his PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction and Ergonomics, Clemens built driving simulator labs and interactive prototypes. In cooperation with JKU’s SoMaP institute, he will support in building the sendance ecosystem from a technical but also user-centered perspective. He is a tech-enthusiast, loves tinkering with cutting-edge technology, and enjoys attending concerts in his free time.
On Friday we hiked about 900 meters (altitude difference) from the train station in Losenstein over the Klausgraben up to the Anton-Schosser-Hütte. Even if we sometimes reached our limits, we still had enough energy for a snowball fight. Unfortunately, we were not complete due to university and illness, but the next team event is already being planned.
Sendance (Robert Koeppe) and WAKO 3D Design- und Produktions GmbH (Martin Trixner and Markus Wakolbinger) have a great common vision: completely digitally manufactured and individually adapted orthopedic medical aids with seamlessly integrated sensors. This allows, for example, prosthetic sockets or diabetic insoles to be perfectly adjusted and also permanently monitored for correct fit.
We will keep you updated on how we will develop revolutionary products with this perfect partnership!
May we introduce: our new colleague Lukas Wakolbinger
As a trained electronics engineer and medical engineering student at the FH Linz, he will actively support the team in the development of prototypes. When he is not hiking in the Peruvian Andes, he likes to spend his spare time in the climbing gym or on his racing bike.
May we introduce: our new colleague Bernhard Handler
Bernhard studied interactive media at the FH Hagenberg and has already worked in the games industry for 9 years. Now he supports the sendance team as a software developer. In his spare time, he likes to play computer- and board games and loves long walks and drawing.
Welcome to our team 🙂
The year 2021, our founding year, is now almost over and we would therefore like to thank many great people who helped us to master the challenges of our start-up.
Special thanks go to AWS (Karl Biedermann), FFG, tech2b (Johanna Köhler, Birgit Wimmer-Wurm), Hubert Egger and Matthias Schmied (our mentors), MTC (Yasmin Striedner), Markus Wakolbinger (Wako3d), Ines Nechi (Helpsole) , Dagmar Doppler (KGG / UBG FTI Gründerfonds), Prof. Martin Kaltenbrunner (JKU), our wonderful team and Robert’s mom.
